Making a Difference at Averill Elementary School

Help fill the teachers' "Wish Lists"

Picture
Research indicates teachers spend over $1000 annually of their own money to meet the needs for supplies and equipment for their students.  If you can help provide any of the item below it would make a big difference!

Large bottles of hand sanitizer for classrooms
30 yellow highlighters
30 stainless steel (not plastic) water bottles
Sand shovels
Jump ropes
Desk mover

Volunteer your time

Picture
Volunteers* are always needed to listen to children read or to read in the classroom.  Helping to supervise lunch time recreation can also help teachers and students.  You can coach a sports team or lead an afterschool activity around your hobby and interests.  If you have special skills or talents to share with the students, teachers, or the office please be sure to talk to Mrs. Thill!  Your time and talents will be put to good use.

*Volunteers must pass background check.
