Community Garden Club:  Increasing local food production

Picture
One of the neighborhood initiatives is to increase the amount of food produced within the neighborhood through residential gardens and community gardens.

We have sections of our School and Community garden devoted to students and teachers to use in school, as well as sections for neighbors and school families.

To reserve a garden plot in the Averill School and Community Garden use the sign up form below.

If our spots are filled, you can also contact the Greater Lansing Food Bank Garden Project to locate another garden.

Find more tips and garden resources on our website.

Request a garden plot in the Averill School & Community Garden

WHO: Garden plots are available to neighborhood residents and Averill and Lewton families and teachers.

COST: A fee of $10 per plot is requested to help cover maintenance costs, gasoline for lawn mower/rototiller, etc.
